Summer Dance Camps:
Our Summer Dance Camps are designed to offer students the opportunity to continue their studies during the Summer. A minimum of 5 students is required for a camp to run and a maximum of 12 students will be admitted.

The following camps will be offered in 2012:

Princess Dance Camps
Monday-Friday

Pre Ballet -Primary (Ages 3 – 5)

About Princess Camps
Children will dress up and learn about the ballets Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake and the fairy tale Snow White. We will read the ballet stories from these three ballets, and watch excerpts. We will then learn a dance from each ballet. Snow White will be used to learn pantomime.

Camp fees include a daily Tap/Ballet class, snack, paper crown, photo, craft and a small performance for family and friends on the final day of camp.

Levels 1 & 2 Ballet Camp
(Ages 6 & 7)

In this camp our students will have a chance to strengthen and improve technique while still having fun with creative movement and a ballet inspired craft to take home! Students will have ballet class, learn a classic variation to be performed for parents on the final day and start to strengthen feet for future pointe/pre-pointe work while continuing work with the ABT curriculum.

Levels 2b & 3a Ballet Camp
(Ages 8 & 9)
July 16 - July 20

In this level students will focus on preparatory pointe work, core strengthening, and nutrition while continuing work with the ABT curriculum. Students will also learn a variation from a classic ballet to be performed on the last day for parents.

Level 3b - Level 5 Ballet Intensive
(Ages 13 and up, younger students with prior permission only)
July 9 - July 20 (weekdays only)
9:00 - 12:00 PM

Technique Class: 9:00 - 10:30 PM ($145.00)
Technique & Pre Pointe/Pointe: 9:00 – 11:15 PM ($270.00 )
Variations & Partnering: 11:30 – 12:00 PM ($90)
Students may attend 1 week for half price
