Dress Code for All Classes


Shoes: Pink ballet slippers/Black tap shoes. Shoes should not be loose fitting. Ballet slippers can easily fall off causing the children to trip. Tap shoes must fit snugly enough to remain on the student's heels when they are standing on their toes. Taps should use elastic or button closures and ballet slippers must have laces either double knotted and cut, or tucked into the top of the shoes. No big jewelry.

Pre-Ballet: Light Pink leotard and tights, White or Pink anklet socks in warm weather. Hair off the face and neck. No tutus or decorations. Skirts attached to leotard preferable if you chose to purchase a skirt.

Ballet I through Ballet III: Light Blue leotard with light Pink tights. Short hair off the face. Long hair pony tail or hair bun. Skirts required for Ballet II-III students.

Ballet IV & V: Royal or Marine blue leotard. Hair bun. White or Pink waistband. Skirts required.

Junior & Intermediate Ballet: Black (Junior) and solid color (Intermediate) leotard, pink tights. Short hair off the face. No ponytails; hair buns only are required. Skirts are allowed the first week of each month only. No Black or Tan tights. Pink waistband.

Tap/Jazz: Appropriate dance clothes only. Black, Pink or Tan tights. Solid color leotard only (any color allowed). No T-shirts, pants or shorts. Hair secured off the face and neck. Dance shoes only - No Street Shoes.

Boys at All Levels: Close fitting White T-shirt, Black or Dark Blue shorts or bike pants, White socks, Black ballet slippers.
